Reality Check is an independent project. We read every message and we especially want to hear about errors — bad math, out-of-date defaults, or a scenario the tool doesn't handle well.
Please allow a few business days for a reply. We're a small team.
What we're happy to hear
- Feedback on the tools — what's confusing, what's missing, what's wrong
- Corrections to any article in The Guide, especially if you can cite a source
- Regional cost data (property tax rates, daycare, utilities) more accurate than our defaults
- Press or partnership inquiries — we don't do affiliate deals, but we do talk to journalists
What we can't do
We can't give you personal financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. If you send us your specific numbers hoping for a recommendation, we'll politely point you back at a certified financial planner in your area.
